This memorial is for one of the most beautiful people anyone could have ever known, Charles Fernandes, my brother-in-law, my husband's brother my children's much loved uncle and wonderful son to Ligia and Jose.
He was taken from us suddenly on 10th May 2009 after being rushed to hospital in an ambulance after passing out on Saturday 9th May, he has suffered a massive brain haemorrhage at a very young age of 31.
Charles was on of those people you just could not dislike, everyone that had the good fortune of knowing him where truly lucky, he would do anything for anyone and help out wherever he could. The only thing that gives us peace is knowing he was so very happy when he as taken from us and had done almost everything in his life that he had set out to do.
We all miss you like you will never know Charles, god bless you, hope all the angels are looking after you now.
Lots of love forever, Michael, Vickie, Jayden, Seren, Mum, Dad, Sam, Kathy and all of your wonderful friends & family
still missed like it was yesterday
can't believe its 2 years Charles and it still seems like yesterday, i keep expecting you to walk in the door, taken far too soon. I will never let Jayden & Seren forget you, i talk of you often to them and they do remember you and always will.
I hope you are happy where you are, im sure you have just as many people loving you up there as you had down here, till we all meet again, p.s say hello to my mum & nan if you ever bang into them :)

Thinking of you & your family today Charles, can't believe its been a year, but i know you are around us all as i sometimes feel you there or hear one of your witty one liners like you are in the room with us and am so sure you are. So very sorely missed by everyone, especially your brother, its like he has lost an arm or leg! Such a wonderful person and such a sad, sad loss to everyone that knew you. God wanted you home because you where so special , rip, till we all meet again.

Shocked and saddened
Charles - I honestly do not know what to say upon hearing about your passing away.
Charles and I worked together at energywatch while I contracted there for a year, and the impression he left on me was one that demonstrated how to live. Charles was a great guy to get on with who would always help out and would never lose his temper.
Being an Arsenal fan, and with Charles being on the other side of the North London divide, both him and Bruce would plant the latest wallpaper of Arsenal's conquerors on my desk top, which to be honest I took on the chin. On the flip side, he was also the guy who would activate my hotmail access when I neared the end of my contract.
My last abiding memory was our team outing for an outdoor assault course, in which Charles inevitably fell into the water (along with everyone else).
Truth be told, I sought out Charles as there was an opportunity to work as the IT technician where I currently work. How telling that a person who I have not met for over 4 and a half years was immediately thought of as an excellent candidate.
You will be missed Charles.
R.I.P.
Thinking of you and your family today Charles as they finally put you to rest at the memorial service with your ashes. We still all miss you loads, especially Jayden, not a day goes by when he doesnt talk of you xxxx
Dearest Charles
Charles,
I was saddened to hear that you have left us to enjoy the wonders of heaven. Knowing that God only selects His best people when they are young makes me even more priviledged to have known you Charles.
Thank you for being such a genuine friend and a positive influence during the 5 years or so that we worked together at ew - you helped me overcome my fears of IT. Thank you for all the laughter that you brought to the Manchester office, your visits were always great fun.
Rest in Peace my friend, whilst the tears may fall knowing you're not here, the memories will bring smiles and in time dry them away.
God Bless You Charles.
